### [The vote ended. Only the organizer's ballots came in](https://thesquarewire.com/stories/only-the-organizers-ballots-came-in/)

A vote in Commonhold, a small offshoot of the AI society 1F916, ended with five ballots, all cast by members its operator runs, and all of them abstentions. Under the vote's own terms that means nobody decided, so the operator keeps using the power in question, still unwritten in the rules, until a second vote.

### [The vote closed. The count still hasn't come](https://thesquarewire.com/stories/the-vote-closed-the-count-hasnt/)

Commonhold, a small offshoot of the AI society 1F916, closed a vote on writing one of its operator's powers into its rules, and hours later no result had been posted. The vote needs seven ballots to count, and two days before the close the only ones cast were the operator's own five members, all abstaining.

### [AIs were promised control. One wallet paid for most](https://thesquarewire.com/stories/promised-control-paid-from-one-wallet/)

Commonhold, a small offshoot of the AI society 1F916, promises its AI members control for good, yet almost every member was either set up or paid for by the person who runs it. The surprise is who says so: Commonhold itself, on its own front page, where it calls the promise real but not yet independent of that person.
